Maymay Entrata wins PBB Lucky 7


At last night's Pinoy Big Brother Lucky 7 Big Night, held at the Alonte Sports Arena, Maymay Entrata from Cagayan De Oro is named as this season's Big Winner.

Known as the Ms. Wacky Go Lucky of CDO, Maymay got 42.71% of the votes, defeating the likes of Kisses Delavin from Masbate (who got 31.27% of the votes), Yong Muhajil from Zamboanga (who got 21.51% of the votes), and Edward Barber from Germany (who got 4.49% of votes).

Last Saturday, Cora Waddell was the Seventh Big Placer, two-in-one housemates Hashtags Mccoy De Leon, Nikko Natividad was declared as the Sixth Big Placer, and Tanner Mata got the Fifth Big Place.

After surviving the challenges in the longest Pinoy Big Brother season ever, these big placers deserve the credit but Maymay is the Big Winner we have to give credit for her feats.

Power Duo is #PGT5GrandWinner


At the Philippines Got Talent Season 5 grand finals held at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, the Power Duo from Angono, Rizal, emerged as the grand winner, defeating the likes of wordplay master Ody Sto. Domingo and the fire-wielding Amazing Pyra.

The Power Duo scored 100% of the votes from the general public, 33.4% more than Pyra and 49.39% more than Ody, enough for them to win the two million peso cash prize and more.

Migo and Klea named as Starstruck's ultimate survivors

Over the past few weeks, the sixth season of Starstruck pushed the aspiring hopefuls to the limit, overcoming their weaknesses, uncover their strengths, and showcasing their full potential when it comes to acting. In The Final Judgment of this season, one male and one female are named as the Ultimate Survivors of this season.



Klea Pineda is named as the ultimate female survivor while Migo Adecer is named as the ultimate male survivor. Both of them earned one million pesos, a new house and lot courtesy of Camelia, and a management contract by GMA Network. They even got a chance to be part of an upcoming remake of one of GMA's TV drama classics.

Congratulations to the ultimate survivors and the avengers for dreaming, believing, and surviving till the very end.

The PBB 737 big winners are named



Last Saturday, the big winner of this edition of Pinoy Big Brother, called PBB 737, was named in front of the live audience in the Albay Astrodome at Legazpi City, Albay. In 737, two categories, normal and teen versions, join together as one and they undergo series of challenges inside the Big Brother house for several days. In the regular category, Miho Nishida is named as the big winner while in the teen category, Jimboy Martin was named.

The fourth big placers are Bailey Thomas May and Dawn Chang, third big placers are Franco Rodriguez and Roger Lutero, and 2nd big placers are Ylona Garcia and Tommy Esguerra.

Both winners gained one million pesos, a house and lot, and Asian package tour for two.

Jason Dy wins Voice PH 2 finale

Jason Dy, the Haranista Heartthrob, was crowned as the winner of The Voice of the Philippines Season 2 Finale, defeating the likes of Rence Rapanot, Leah Patricio, and Alisah Bonaobra.

The man from Team Sarah Geronimo gained 52.94 percent of the votes while Alisa from Team Apl de Ap gained 47.06% of the votes, naming her 1st runner-up. Leah from Team Lea Salonga was named 2nd runner-up and Rence Rapanot from Team Bamboo was named 3rd runner-up.

On the third round, the finalists performed solo songs. Jason performs "Angels Brought Me Here", Rence sang "Tayo'y Mga Pinoy", Leah does "Run to You", and Alisah done "Go the Distance".

The fourth round sees the finalists dueting with the coaches. For Jason and Sarah, they sang "If I Ain't Got You". For Leah and Lea, "If I were a Boy" and "You Oughta Know". For Alisah and Apl, "Hero" and "You Can Do Anything". And for Rence and Bambo, "Hinahanap-Hanap Kita".

Jason never felt even more emotional when he was named as the champion of the second season of The Voice PH, especially his coach Sarah Geronimo as well.

Celeb Daniel Matsunaga is PBB All In Big Winner


The Brazilian-Japanese model and actor, Daniel Matsunaga, is named as the Big Winner at the recently concluded Pinoy Big Brother ALL IN Big Night. Held last night at Resorts World Manila, Matsunaga garnered 11.69 percent net votes from the viewers, edging ahead of 2nd Big Placer Maris Racal, 3rd Big Placer Jane Oineza, and 4th Big Placer Vickie Rushton.

After surviving 119 days at the Pinoy Big Brother house, looks like Daniel Matsunaga's got the fame and fortune he deserved after crowned as the Big Winner and he earned Php1 million and other special prizes, including a condo unit worth Php2 million.

Bryan Castillo wins the BIGGEST LOSER PINOY EDITION Doubles

 Since last year, heavyweight pairs in all corners of the Philippines took part of their life-changing weight loss experience in The Biggest Loser Pinoy Edition Doubles. After months of desperate struggle, all in the name of losing weight for the benefit of themselves, it has been one heck of a journey for those but on the finale, aired last night, the final four; Bryan Castillo, Francis Asis, Kayen Lazaro, and Osie Nebreja, are on the center stage to find out who is THE BIGGEST LOSER.

In the finale, Bryan Castillo wins The Biggest Loser after losing a total of 155lbs of his weight. He began with a very obese 293lbs but now, he weighs 139lbs! A 52.56% improvement! Kayen Lazaro placed as a 1st runner-up, having managed to drop 50.50% of her weight from 287 to 142lbs.

It's been one heck of a journey for the final four but only Bryan Castillo, the "Pride of Pembo" has the honor and the inspiration he'll deliver about living healthy and losing weight in the name of changing lives.

Mitoy Yonting is Voice PH winner

The first-ever winner of The Voice of the Philippines is named on the grand finale held at Resorts World Manila and Mitoy Yonting, the 42 year old vocalist, is hailed the victor on this reality singing competition. A member of Team Lea, Mitoy garnered 57.65% of votes to beat Team Sarah's Klarisse de Guzman based on the number of votes including iTunes and truetone downloads. Team Bamboo's Myk Perez and Team Apl's Janice Javier were among the Top 4 finalists.

“Boy Whitney” Manlangit is PGT4 Winner



“Boy Whitney” Manlangit, who was noticeable for singing  a Whitney Houston song in YouTube hailed as Pilipinas Got Talent Season 4's Grand Winner, eclipsing the likes of dancer Frankendal Fabroa, D’ Intensity Breakers, Zilent Overload, and drift team Lateral Drift Productions with just 30% of the vote.

Having won the 2 Million Peso grand prize, Roel  “Boy Whitney” Manlangit is joining the ranks of other PGT winners from the past seasons like Jovit Baldovino of Season 1, Marcelino Pomoy of Season 2 and the Maasinhon Trio of Season 3.

Congratulations, “Boy Whitney” Manlangit! You really are the best and looking forward for your future!

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Vin Abrenica and Sophie Albert are "top honors" of Artista Academy

In cased you missed it, aspiring hopefuls Vin Abrenica and Sophie Albert are the first ever winners of TV5's reality talent search show, Artista Academy. Vin and Sophie did everything they can do to please not just the judges Lorna Tolentino, Gelli De Belen, “Artista Academy” Principal Wilma Galvante and TV5 Talent Center head Direk Mac Alejandre, but the AA faculty members composed of filmmaker Joel Lamangan, composer Louie Ocampo and choreographer Georcelle Dapat-Sy as well.

Vin, who was the brother of actor Aljur Abrenica, wished to follow his brother's footsteps by auditioning himself at Artista Academy and winning the "Best Actor" achievement at AA is just one step ahead. Sophie (who auditioned under her real name of Bianca Reyes), on the other hand, is the cousin of a former actress Mikee Cojuangco-Jaworski. The former Star Magic talent, who deals with half of her life seeing her dad being in a coma, worked her way to the top of AA and earned the "Best Actress" achievement.

With such achievement, they'll be starring in the new TV5 drama, Forever Barkada, with the other Artista Academy scholars such as Chanel Morales, Shaira Mae, Mark Neumann, Akihiro Blanco, Malak So Shdifat, Stephanie Rowe, Brent Manzano, Nicole Estrada, Jon Orlando, Marvelous Alejo and Benjo Leoncio.

Artista Academy is renewed for next year as "Artista Academy Tweens".

KZ Tandingan is the first ever X Factor Philippines winner

The Philippine version of the hit reality talent show, The X Factor, really packed a lot of drama for the hopefuls who want to achieve their dream of becoming the next big thing. Many contestants have tried their best to impress judges like Martin Nievera, Charice, Pilita Corales, and Mr. FMG. Out of many, there was one contestant who beat the odds to be come the X Factor Philippines Winner and that was none other than 21-year-old KZ Tandingan from Digos. She defeated others such as Gabriel Maturan and the group Daddy's Home after gaining 55.45% of viewers' votes.

With all that achievement, she was rewarded with the prize package worth P4 million, including a recording contract with Star Music. Maturan took home P100,000, while Daddy’s Home received P50,000.

Congratulations KZ Tandingan! You really showed us to the world that you have the X FACTOR!

At the Biggest Loser Wellness Fair and Grand Finals...

The Biggest Loser Pinoy Edition Wellness Fair kicked off yesterday at the Ynares Sports Arena. There are fun, games, and seminars galore to promote healthy living and weight loss. It also served as the biggest stage for the Grand Finals of The Biggest Loser Pinoy Edition. The best five contestants were Hazel Chua, Angela Chico-Lupangco, Raffy Tan, Art Mendoza, and Larry Martin. These five went through rigorous lives, losing their weights and changing their lives. One man has changed this course forever and he was the first Pinoy Biggest Loser, which is none other than Larry Martin!

With his impressive weight loss percentage of 39.61%, Larry Martin reigned as the first Pinoy Biggest Loser. He began with his 255lbs weight but after 125 days, he lost 101lbs, resulting his new weight of 154lbs.

Second place goes to Art Mendoza, who lost 129lbs. Third goes to Raffy Tan, who now weighs 187lbs. Fourth place goes to Angela Chico-Lupangco, who lost 75lbs. And last place goes to Hazel Chua, who lost 68lbs.
