The big scoop today...

- Americans! The official Pokemon Center shopping website is now online! All your favorite Pokemon merchandise are offered on-site and more are on the way. It offers fan-favorite plushies, apparels, games, and everything Pokemon! To celebrate Day 1, the Poke Ball-pattern Vivillon is offered for the first time in North America since this special Vivillon was offered in France and Japan. It's yours in Pokemon X/Pokemon Y but don't delay, Americans! You got until the 12th of August to claim it!

- Fugitives Cedric Lee and Zimmer Raz will be transferred to Camp Bagong Diwa while Deniece Cornejo will remain at Camp Crame.

- Germany will be the next nation to give Pokemon X/Pokemon Y players the special Poke Ball-pattern Vivillon as those who visit this year's gamescom on the 14th of August will get their own special Vivillon while taking part for upcoming announcements regarding ORAS and other Pokemon stuff.

- Most Filipinos will need to be extra alert with their credit cards as ATM "skimming" is plunging the nation.

- Two top Khmer Rouge leaders, Nuon Chea and Khieu Samphan, were arrested and given life sentence after convicted by Cambodia's UN-backed tribunal of crimes against humanity. Under the 1975-1979 Khmer Rouge regime, over two million people are thought to have died of starvation and overwork or executed as enemies of the state.

- A self-driving Nissan Skyline?! The folks from Germany decided to put its Active Lane Control on the Nissan Skyline V37 (commonly known as the Infiniti Q50 globally) to the test via the Autobahn and look at this result when this handy little gizmo kicks in to your Skyline V37.

 

- Toyota's business wagons, the Probox and the Succeed, have given themselves a facelift for the 2015 model year with a new front view, and some improvements to keep Japan's aging business wagons a new lease of life.

- The Metro Manila Development Authority mulls increasing the speed limit to 33kph to help ease out the dreadful traffic conditions, but only if it gets its fiscal year 2015 budget.

- Announced by Disney, their latest hit TV comedy series, Girl Meets World, has just been renewed for another season!
