Threats from North Korea - A Week in Review (June 8, 2013)

And now, the week in review of what's what at the Korean peninsula...

June 3, 2013

- South Korea and the United States began extended negotiations on renewing their civilian nuclear pact, with Seoul pushing for the right to produce its own nuclear fuel.

The current accord, signed in 1974, had been due to expire in 2014, but was extended in April for two years after failing to make progress on the South's demand to reprocess spent fuel rods.

June 4, 2013

- South Korean president Park Geun-hye pledged to raise the employment rate to 70 percent since before coming to office earlier this year.

- South Korean president Park Geun-hye met with visiting Mozambican counterpart Armando Guebuza...with the two agreeing to strengthening bilateral cooperation on energy, natural resources, trade, and investment.

- Korea and USA finished their seventh round of negotiations on the revision of their bilateral civilian nuclear pact

June 5, 2013

- The Korea Power Exchange raised the power shortage alert level to two at 11:20 am KST after the country's power reserves dipped below 3.5 million kW. Roughly 40 minutes later, it brought the warning level back down to one, and kept it there for the rest of the afternoon.

- Korea's Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning announced its plans to spend some 40 trillion Won over the next 5 years to foster the so-called creative industries.

- Military leaders of South Korea and China jointly voiced their commitment to not tolerate North Korea's nuclear program.

- North Korea condemned Seoul for trying to help nine young North Koreans who were repatriated after trying to defect...characterizing it as an attempt to "lure and kidnap" them.

June 6, 2013

- North Korea's Committee for Peaceful Reunification of Korea released a statement that proposing government-level talks on normalizing the halted Kaesong complex and stalled tourism business near Mt. Geumgang.

June 7, 2013

- South Korean Unification Minister Ryoo Kil-jae proposed a ministerial-level meeting with the North in Seoul for next week. The proposed talks on June 12 will be to resolve inter-Korean issues such as the Kaesong complex, Mt. Geumgang tourism, and the reunions of separated families.

- South Korea accepted government-level working talks proposed by North Korea but called for the meeting to be held at the truce village of Panmunjom.

Let's Do The News! (June 7, 2013)

(cheers and applause)

2014 Audi RS6 Avant

JC: What?

RH: What?

JC: What?

RH: Well, Mr. Harshy Pants, look what you just did to this... See this?

JC: Well, it's a teddy bear. I just bought it in the thrift store for actual demonstration of how much torque it can pull on the RS6. I tell you what...even with the quattro all-wheel drive, it still acts like a Brainiac for a sport wagon like this and with so much torque...I can't even tell what's next for Angry Mom to do with her kid when he reached strike three...

(audience laughing)

JC: All in the name of metaphors, of course...

(audience laughing)

RH: Yeah, right. All in the name of tortured metaphors like we always do all the time. Are you sure you really want the RS6 Avant to be sold only for angry parents who wants their kids to deserve severe provocations when they did something wrong?

(audience laughing)

JC: Anyway, can we do the news now?

JM: Okay, the news and hey! Does anyone watched the first game of the NBA finals? The one where last year's champs Miami Heat faces of against San Antonio Spurs?

JC: Oh yeah. Since you're a Heat fan, shame on you because the Spurs took Game One against Heat at the score of 92 to 88.

RH: Yeah, not bad for Spurs! We're on their side not like you, you were supporting on the side where Lebron James is king of the court.

(audience laughing)

JC: Yeah, you know. It was a great start at this year's NBA Finals for the San Antonio Spurs, probably thanks to Tony Parker's 21 point lead against the Heat. Anyway, post-game reactions, I've been looking at so many negative comments about this game and here's the latest I found on the net...

(audience laughing)

JC: Oh wait! There's more negative post-game comments...

(audience laughing)

RH: Wow! That's a lot of negative comments regarding Spurs taking over Game One against heat and when Spurs' own Tony Parker unleashed everything he got! Geez...aren't there any more negative post-game comments in the net out there?

JC: Well, a lot. But don't worry. There's more drama to this 2013 NBA Finals out there for Heat and Spurs as game one happens this Sunday (Monday if you're in Asia), thank you very much...

(audience laughing)

JC: Now, yesterday, we tackled more about the new generation Mitsubishi eK Wagon and its Nissan twin, the Dayz but there's more news to these two...and it's a bad one for the newbies...

(audience laughing)

RH: What do you mean, bad? They were there a day ago!

JC: Yes but we kinda forgot the other news regarding these newbies out there because during the launch date, there has been a recall for the new eK Wagon and Dayz and the recall involves on the problem with the installation of the high-mounted stop lamp that is installed on the upper tailgate.

(audience laughing)

RH: Now that's quite a minor setback for the newcomers.

JC: Yeah. Quite a major mistake to issue a recall for a new car when it reaches its launch date. Hopefully, that will never happen again and if that happen, that will became a commercial flop...

(audience laughing)

JM: Big news!

JC: What?

JM: I just heard that the guy who played counter-terrorist agent Jack Bauer from 24 has been given the role as the English dub for Snake in the upcoming Metal Gear Solid V!

JC: No...but...huh...wait! Seriously?

JM: Not a joke. It's the real deal! They mean it during the Konami Pre-E3 conference because ever since longtime English dubber of Snake, David Hayter, announced his retirement, many are speculating who will be the English voice of Snake in the upcoming MGSV: The Phantom Pain. There has been numerous candidates but the recommendation for the new Snake came from Avi Arad, who was very busy at the moment producing the Metal Gear movie. He said "Oh wait! Why don't you choose Kiefer Sutherland to be Snake for the upcoming sequel?" and then Kojima agreed to the decision from the movie producer.

JC: Kiefer Sutherland? The actor from 24 and Touch, gets to play as Snake on MGSV? That's quite an absurd idea but I like it. Having Jack Bauer playing as Snake would sound more dramatic and as dramatic as the Japanese 24 promo plugs with something that goes "ore wa Jack Bauer!"

(audience laughing)

RH: That's cool and this would be like "Ore wa Snake!" (speaking indistinct Japanese)

(audience laughing)

JC: Now anyway, while on the Pre-E3 for Konami, they even announced an upcoming Winning Eleven 2014 and Castlevania Lords of Shadow 2 as well. Now what fascinates me about the upcoming WE2014 is that they're using a new kind of game engine that broadly similar to the one used on Metal Gear Solid V.

JM: What? You mean the FOX Engine?

JC: Uh...a bit more than that but the new game engine that will be using on the new game adds fluidity on the motion and it feels more like they're in reality even though they're virtual. I kinda like the way Konami tries to make their games feel like it came to life. Now as for the Castlevania Lords of Shadow 2, it picks up where the epilogue from the original Lords of Shadow left off and in the sequel, you get to play as Dracula as you're fighting your way against immortality.

RH: Wha? Play as Dracula? No bleeding way man! That was utter cool!

JC: I know...Getting to play the role of a vampire is fun for this sequel, except of course some of the monsters on the sequel now has shields and requires precise attacking strategy to take down those new kind of enemies...

RH: Would there be zombies?

(audience laughing)

JC: Not sure but let's hope they're be zombies like the last one...

(audience laughing)

JC: Anyway, back in December 2012, we bid farewell to the Lexus LFA supercar ever since the 500th and the last LFA was made and it was very sad to see it go. Anyway, here's another fitting tribute video on what makes the Lexus LFA great. Here it is...

(cheers and applause)

JC: Thank you and goodbye, Lexus LFA! Thank you and goodbye! And that is the end...of the news!

Audi RS6 Avant (C7)

2014 Audi RS6 Avant

Quite a rare opportunity to have one of these, the all new RS6 Avant from Audi is what happens when you take a posh station wagon for European moms whose husbands spend most of their nights getting pints of lager and then transform it into a swagger wagon where moms had changed and then turn their swagger on to beat up their husbands and their friends.

Think of it wagon's fueled with so many Braniacs on it. So much Braniacs in it, you are gonna regret that you're going to abuse this wagon more and more until it screams "uncle" in German. Question is, how "Braniac" can this new RS6 Avant be? First of all, it started in life as an ordinary A6 Avant and then what just happened is when you let someone named "Mabel" goof off with the wagon until it turned into a monster wagon that is the total equivalent of the most hatred comic book hero named Deadpool. Seriously, how come they're some morons became fans of Deadpool? I wonder....

But it's not all about having a Deadpool-style personality that matched the RS6's exterior but the interior feels like it's been smothered in leather jumpsuits.

2014 Audi RS6 Avant interior

I mean look at the interior. It's about as dark as a monolith while the panels are made to look like carbon fiber. Now that's uncanny and that's not the end of it because RS sport seats with pronounced side bolsters and integrated head restraints really adds the character to the RS5's interior. Honestly, being a hardcore station wagon made for the very aggressive moms is just plain stupid. I mean, imagine when you're fetching your kids at school and when you heard that when your kid just got detention, not only you got mad because of this and then you're going to slap him at home, but the punishment for this is make him scare by pulling some deadly stunts until your kid gets too intense and crying loudly. Wow, that's even more punishing than spanking him with a leather belt or for worse, cut off the head of his favorite teddy bear.

No wait....rather than using either a scissor or a knife to cut off the head of his beloved teddy bear that he often cuddled during bedtime, perhaps the only way to cut off Mr. Teddy Bear's head rather than the knife or scissors is the raw performance of the RS6 because of the monster that lives under the bonnet.

It has the same 4.0L TFSi engine that you'll get on the Audi S8 so it produces about a meat cleaver-ish 560 hp of power and if you are using the English metric system...the torque output is 700 Nm, that's more torque than the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series and if you strapped his favorite teddy bear onto the tires, be prepared because the torque's too much to shred the poor teddy bear into bits. So, kid's finally learned his lesson? Not quite yet because there's more to that than ruining his teddy bear using the torque from the RS6's V8 twin turbo engine. What else does Angry Mom can rip off? There's only one answer...another one of his son's plushies! He he he...

Anyway, enough about that because this is getting too sensible and too intense. It's going to feel like you've been spending all night reading too much Deadpool volumes but if all goes too wrong...the only way for a little bit of "RAGE QUIT" is drive the RS6 Avant because "RAGE QUIT" is what it does best because with so much torques on such a 5-door wagon body, this is not the nicest wagon for you to drive if you are very polite. This RS6 Avant wants more Edgar Allan Poe-ish and more Hannibal Lecter-ish and with the expensive pricing of 107,900 euros, rated SPG as well. SPG as in...STRONG PARENTAL GUIDANCE.

You got to love the new RS6 Avant because with so much torque, the biggest punishment you'll ever give next time when your son gets a strike three is...well, you know what to do...

Okay... You know what, this is getting a bit too much Deadpool on this review. I think I should call this one a wrap.

Kia Cee-Apostrophe-D to leave Top Gear

Forza 4 - Kia cee’d Reasonably Priced Car Children In Need 2012 edition
Kia Cee'd

Just like Matt Smith leaving Doctor Who before the year ends, BBC's Top Gear confirmed that the first-generation Kia Cee'd, the reasonably priced car since Series 15 back in the summer of 2010, will be leaving the Top Gear Test Track for good.

This reasonably priced car first stepped Top Gear in 2010 since its predecessor, the Chevrolet Lacetti got crushed by a demolished chimney, and during its tenure, many high-profile celebs drove the Cee-Apostrophe-D round the track, including the likes of Matt Le Blanc, Rowan Atkinson, Jonathan Ross, Slash, Eleventh Doctor Matt Smith, Rupert Grint (Ron from the Harry Potter films), Ryan Reynolds, Amy MacDonald, Sir John Prescott, Louis Walsh, and so much more.

Earlier, Top Gear assembled a range of likely successors at a top secret venue in Surrey and The Stig gave them a run on their money. Moments later, they found it but what is it? What will the new reasonably priced car be? What would the Cee-Apostrophe-D's spectacular exit be?

Find out the answer when Series 20 of Top Gear airs this late June...

Mitsubishi eK Wagon (3rd Generation) and Nissan Dayz

Two new kei cars as part of strengthening ties between Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. and Mitsubishi Motors Corporation and part of the newly established NMKV joint venture have arrived and the all-new Mitsubishi eK Wagon and its Nissan counterpart, the Dayz, setting standards in the Japanese kei-car market and promises to set importance to this wondrous collaboration from these two Japanese automotive giants.

2014 Mitsubishi eK Wagon

2014 Nissan Dayz
For the new third-generation eK Wagon, it's been divided into two styles; the standard eK Wagon targeted for those who wanted something simple and the stylish eK Custom for those who wanted something a bit more sporty and stylish in the eyes of observers. Same goes the Dayz because it too has two styles such as the normal Dayz which has the face of the Nissan Note and the Highway Star model which has the face of the Nissan Serena.

2014 Mitsubishi eK Custom

2014 Nissan Dayz
Both the new eK Wagon and the Dayz are built on Mitsubishi's Mizushima Plant and no matter which version you'll be, it's just the same feeling. This is where all of the hard work done by Mitsubishi not just for itself but also for Nissan as well because like I said, both the eK Wagon and the Dayz are fruits of their labor and part of the wondrous collaboration that started the NMKV joint venture.

Anyway, both the Dayz and the new eK Wagon are powered with Mitsubishi's newly developed 3B20 MIVEC DOHC 12-valve engine mated with a CVT gearbox. This new engine provides strong driving performance and best-in-class fuel economy among height wagon-type kei cars. Fuel economy based on Japan's JC08 Test Cycle is a nice 29.2km/L, which is a bit more than the Honda N ONE and also the Suzuki Wagon R as well! Wait!

You know, last year's Suzuki Wagon R comes with a mild hybrid system which delivers 28.8km/L but this new eK Wagon and Dayz doesn't have that technology the Suzuki Wagon R had. How's that possible for a kei-car like this to deliver 29.2km/L of fuel economy that can easily trounced the Wagon R? What sort of witchcraft was that? Nope. That wasn't witchcraft, this is logic. Those new NMKV kei cars don't rely on that kind of system and depended on old-fashioned fuel-saving technology but made it better to get such fuel consumption. The new 3B20 MIVEC engine provides improved combustion efficiency, adoption of an exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) cooler, reduced friction and the electronically-controlled thermostat, meaning there is a lot more than that why 29.2km/L of fuel consumption for the new eK Wagon and Dayz was reached.

Anyway, let's not talk more about it but as for the eK Custom and Dayz Highway Star variants, an optional turbocharger was offered to increase its power output from 49PS to 64PS, much like anything else in the world right now.

2014 Mitsubishi eK Custom interior

2014 Mitsubishi eK Wagon interior

2014 Nissan Dayz interior

As for the interior, manufacturers said that both the eK Wagon and the Dayz provides space for relaxation while being wrapped in high-quality materials made to be somewhat a bit premium and a bit posh. Sometimes, as kei cars, most of their interiors are somewhat plain and a bit easy and clean. Not so in here because while having a "easy and clean" interior, it's pretty much technological and as demonstrated with this kei-car-first Touch Panel Auto A/C, which at the touch of your fingertips, adjusts the climate control of your car if you want it a bit warmer for fall and winter and if you want it a bit cooler for spring and summer. Of course, summer's here so best to set the A/C cool but that's a privilege for those who don't want to open their windows on the roundabouts or in the highway or in the city streets or in the open road or whatever you're going.

Plus, the rear view mirror comes with a rear view monitor for added convenience if your neck's too tired to turn behind while parking your car in reverse. Since it was mounted in the mirror, a car navigation system is not required to use this feature. They learned that idea from the latest Nissan Note you know. Also, the front view comes with a Super UV-cut heat insulated green glass which filters out 99 percent of harmful UV rays, hazard warning lights automatically flashed on and off when depressing the brakes firmly or when the ABS is operated, and so much more to keep these kei cars advanced ahead of time...if you have the urge to take your time learning so much features of these.

Available colors for the eK Wagon: White Solid, White Pearl, Cool Silver Metallic, Black Mica, Sakura Pink Metallic, Cherry Brown Pearl, Brilliant Turquoise Metallic, and Purplish Navy Blue Pearl.

Available colors for the eK Custom: White Pearl, Cool Silver Metallic, Black Mica, and Purplish Navy Blue Pearl

Available colors for the Dayz: White, White Pearl, Cool Silver Metallic, Black Pearl, Silky Rose Metallic, Reddish Maroon Pearl Metallic, Mineral Blue Metallic, and Premium Purple Pearl.

For the 2014 eK Wagon, prices start from 1,050,000 Yen up to 1,335,000 Yen while the eK Custom starts at 1,269,000 Yen up to 1,546,000 Yen and the Dayz starts at 1,060,000 Yen up to 1,600,000 Yen, making it the one of this year's JDM bargains.

So, there you have it folks. Both the new eK Wagon and the Dayz are the first of the NMKV joint venture and a wonderful partnership between Nissan and Mitsubishi, making it one of the most important vehicles to be ever launched this year and even with such partnerships, I think both the eK Wagon and the Dayz need some time to prepare themselves before getting primed up and ready to showcase the world what they're capable of. Oh wait, they're available only in Japan so only the Japanese crowd will behold on these two. He he he.... What are the chances?

Pagani Zonda Revolucion revolved

Pagani Zonda Revolucion

This time, they mean it. This is the LAST Pagani Zonda they'll ever make and it's essentially based on the track-weapon Zonda R special machine. It's called the Zonda Revolucion and the epic finale to the Pagani Zonda was revealed during Vanishing Point 2013, serving as the ultimate level of the Zonda R program.

The 6.0L V12 that powers it now churns out 800HP of power and 730Nm of torque. It now weighs 1070kg thanks to extensive use of carbotanium monocoque and the power to weight ratio is now 748hp per tonne, that's more than the Bugatti Veyron.

The track-only finale (they mean it) will be sold in limited numbers at 2.2 million Euros but if you playboys live in the UK, that's going to be a billion pounds because Britain has noise limits and when it breaches, you need your own track.

Let's Do The News! (June 5, 2013)

(cheers and applause)

JM: Wow...I'd never knew you're writing a big complaint about it.

JC: Yes, yes I am. Now anyway, major reason why, as of now, the Punkish Gothic is not yet on the PS3 version of iM@S 2 is because Namco Bandai doesn't have the time and energy to feature because all they do is featuring more and more PS3-exclusive outfits until they had enough and work on their next big project, so therefore, adding the Punkish Gothic costume on the PS3 version is null and void.

JM: Hang on...hang on...So, what you're pointing was that the costume that was once on the XBOX 360 version of iM@S 2 will never see the light of day to be on the PS3 version...I know, that's so disappointing for those who had the PS3 version.

JC: Well, because of that creator's announcement of the next iM@S game coming very very soon, I'm afraid that will be too late for the PS3 iM@S 2 to feature this most-requested Extend Costume we know as Punkish Gothic.

JC: So, anyway, let's do the news,!

JM: Right, the news! And if you are a Filipino in Hong Kong who have been on the friendly match between AZKALS and its rival HK team, I wonder if those guys are okay...

JC: Yeah, that makes me go hmmm because last night, there has been some booing and throwing stuff from the Hong Kong crowd against the Filipinos, especially the team AZKALS, thus turning a so-called friendly match into an unfriendly match, if you know what I mean, right?

JM: Yeah, think about the Filipino audiences who had been in the match. They tweet about getting traumatized in the middle of an unfriendly match between AZKALS against its HK rivals because of so much hissing and booing from the Hong Kong fans against the Filipinos, particularly, the women and children and the bluff that AZKALS came from a nation of slaves...

JC: Wait a minute...nation of slaves? Does this word ring a bell? Oh wait! It was from a 2009 article from Chip Tsao about the Philippines as a nation of slaves! No wonder they coined such ethnic slur from the fans who are booing and hissing from most Filipinos and AZKALS at the Mong Kok Stadium in Kowloon, Hong Kong, last night.

JM: It's a good thing the AZKALS won the match, right?

JC: Yeah. Having the AZKALS won the match against its Hong Kong rivals was a good one because this is their FIRST TIME in seven attempts between the two sides with the last result between the two was in 2011 in a 3-3 draw in the Long Teng Cup. Now, the bad side of it is...

RH: AZKALS are now the most hatred team in the eyes of Hong Kong people?

(audience laughing)

JC: Possibly...but this is just a bluff. Just because the Philippine AZKALS defeated their Hong Kong rival team doesn't mean that they became Hong Kong's most hatred. I mean if it were, those angry Hong Kong crowd's going nuts and then smacking down every living Filipino inside and outside the stadium...

(audience laughing)

RH: Anyway, not only Doctor Who, Lamborghini, McLaren, or the others are celebrating their 50th birthday this year...but the Porsche 911 is joining the birthday list who are celebrating their big 50th birthday for 2013 and as an 50th anniversary bonus, Porsche launched the special edition 911-50 it is...

2014 Porsche 911-50
RH: It's based on the 911 Carrera S, the latest one, but the body is loosely from the Carrera 4, special 911-50 badge at the back, costs £92,257, and limited to 1963 models worldwide.

JC: Wait...1963?

RH: Yep! Reason why they picked that number is because the first Porsche 911 came out in 1963 at the Frankfurt Motor Show so this 50th anniversary special 911 will be revealed at the same venue as well!

JC: Yeah...I knew that it was just a big coincidence....but still I can't see it because...

RH: Oh! Come on! Enough with your Executive Optical jokes in case of a Porsche 911 conundrum!

(audience laughing)

JC: Now anyway...some more supercar crashes of the year and this time, I picked up another report that there was a Lamborghini Aventador crashed somewhere in Thailand...

JM: What?!

JC: True. Somewhere in Thailand, a rich Thai businessman just crashed his Lambo while he was on the trip to his dad's funeral but luckily for the driver, he survived. Reason why he luckily survived the Lambo crash is because he has this...sort of...lucky charm he wore.

JM: What an unbelievable stroke of luck for him.

JC: I know. Imagine if I wear that kind of charm and if I was in the middle of the crash...let's just say a brutal crash...I survived and I got minor injuries.

RH: Yeah but I wouldn't mind wearing a lucky shirt that protects your from gunmen because back then, I just saw a joke about a shirt that possesses a magic power that protects the wearer from bullets but the man remain skeptical about this so to prove, he had to find someone who has a gun to test it and then, later...the lucky shirt was just fake.

(audience laughing)

JC: Hmmm....Seems that I saw that joke too but sometimes, not all lucky charms are created equal because no matter the outcome, you'll be stuck in a dead end and you'll end up getting hurt. Fact or bluff?

JM: More like "celebrity bluff" if you asked me...

(audience laughing)

JC: Anyway, last week, Orphan Black, a BBC America original series, ended its first season run and will return next year for more thrills and spills from Sarah Manning, played by Tatiana Maslany, and her clones. Now, since you guys managed to watched the entire series...guess how much they got salivated on how Season One ended but anyway, since the next season will be next year...Chaps, which of the Tatiana Maslany roles from Orphan Black that tickles your fancy?

JM: Wait...didn't Tatiana Maslany did several roles in this show, especially main protagonist Sarah Manning? How many?

JC: Well, let's see...Tatiana Maslany played as Sarah Manning, Elizabeth, Katja, Alison, Cosima, Helena, Rachel, Sarah as Elizabeth, Sarah as Katja, Helena as Sarah as Elizabeth, Alison as Sarah, Sarah as Alison, Helena as Sarah...there too many to list!

(audience laughing)

RH: So...The real one disguises as one of her clones but some of her clones can disguise as the real one who can disguise as one of her clones....AGH! My brain's going to explode!

JC: I know, right? Orphan Black really explodes your brains because of its darker and intense storyline and because it's coming to UK TVs via BBC Three, I guess this is the best time to's about time! Also, during the wrap-up of this season, the production team says "thank you for your loyalty" with some...well...what to expect on the next season, written on the board. Here it is...

RH: Wait wait wait...One of something in the board says... "Clones host SNL"... does this mean that in the next season, there's going to be an episode where clones ended up hosting Saturday Night Live? My bets on Cosima anyway...

(audience laughing)

JM: And says "everybody dies"...Does it mean, the clones are going to die?

JC: Not sure but...we'll figure it out when Orphan Black returns next year.

RH: Yeah...looking forward to the SNL episode of that show...

(audience laughing)

JC: Anyway, while we're getting stoked for Christopher Eccleston playing as the bad guy Malekith in the upcoming Thor: The Dark World film this fall, I just got word that there's another Doctor Who alum going to be involved in the world of MARVEL. The latest was none other than...Karen Gillan, who was Amy Pond in the series, will be joining in the cast of an upcoming MARVEL movie Guardians of the Galaxy.

RH: Whoa...whoa...Guardians? Wait a minute...if you said Guardians...would it mean either Legend of the Guardians or Rise of the Guardians?

(audience laughing)

JC: Neither of those, Hammond. Although I still don't get why most of the people who watched Rise of the Guardians love that Jack Frost character and most boys want to dress as him. Anyway, Guardians of the Galaxy. This new MARVEL movie was still in the casting process and they had Glenn Close (who was Cruella De Vil from the 101 Dalmatians), Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana and Dave Bautista lead the cast of Marvel’s space adventure movie, which has Lee Pace and Michael Rooker as villains.

RH: I wonder what role K-Gill's gonna be on next year's film?

JC: As of now...unknown but some say she will play the film’s lead female villain, just like what Sir Chris do in Thor 2.

(audience laughing)

JM: Anyway, that's the end of the news and an update on which is the best Phineas and Ferb song of all time because last week, we had eight songs gunning for the top but for now, it's all down to four.

1) There's a Platypus Controlling Me
2) Summer Belongs To You
3) Brand New Best Friend
4) Everything's Better With Perry

So, it's the semi-finals and only two will remain so...which is gonna be? Log on to and look for the VOTE link where you'll be decide which of your favorite P&F song will be the best and tune in on Disney Channel this June 28 and let special guest Kelly Osbourne counting down the best P and F songs in order.

Open Letter to NBGi - Not adding Punkish Gothic to PS3 iM@S 2 is a mistake

Punkish Gothic

Open Letter to NBGi - Not adding Punkish Gothic to PS3 iM@S 2 is a mistake

Dear Namco Bandai,

As I know, THE IDOLM@STER 2 is definitely one of the best games for XBOX 360 players and it is essentially the sequel of the game every Japanese gamers got addicted because of its clever gameplay. Sadly, because most of the Japanese otakus of today shown less interest to the XBOX 360, perhaps sales of the XBOX 360 in Japan have plummeted in the recent months, therefore iM@S 2 was also suffered on the setback so to increase sales of this sequel of the popular iM@S game, you've start selling the PS3 version of  THE iDOLM@STER 2 for the very first time since October 2011 but to do that, you're planning some exclusivity, something that the original XBOX 360 version doesn't have, like for instance, the G4U game included in every iDOLM@STER anime Blu-Ray volumes.

It was fine at first, trying to make DLC contents for the PS3 version of iM@S as identical to the original XBOX 360 version but there's one bit of a problem you had pushed it too far. It all began back in late May 2012 when you are trying to throw out something just for owners of the PS3 version, something that you can't put it on the XBOX 360 version. The evidences of this PS3-exclusive downloadable contents that drives XBOX 360 owners insane were Dressy Alice, Rainy Suzuran, Random Color Beauty, Digital Spacecraft, Cutie Insect, Weeping Wisteria, Burning Performer, Stratos Butterfly, Full bloom Yukata Dress, Starlight Agent, My Baby's Breath, Corduroy Country, Circuit Architect, Prima Concerto♪, Cardigan Schooler, Traditional Maid, Bright Eaglet, and Exotic China. These are the DLC outfits available only to the PS3 versions but on the bright side, at least you put most of the DLC outfits that came from the XBOX 360 version...or did you?

You see, there was one outfit short to the lineup and after much investigation, there's one DLC outfit that you hadn't put on the PS3 version. Wanna know what that is, NBGi? Here's a hint; it was on the XBOX 360 version of THE iDOLM@STER 2 and because you're too focused to put so many PS3 exclusives in the game, you have forgotten to put this outfit on the PS3 version. That's right. That DLC outfit that hasn't been added on the PS3 version is none other than...Punkish Gothic (パンキッシュゴシック).

Just one question, why is this DLC outfit hadn't been added to the PS3 version? Why? Are you saying that this Punkish Gothic outfit is not part of you agenda and the main reason why the PS3 version of iM@S 2 didn't come with that remains a mystery? As of now, the Punkish Gothic DLC outfit for THE iDOLM@STER 2 wasn't available on the PlayStation Store but most of the PS3 iM@S 2 players really demanded to have that outfit to be included because it remains one of the most fan-favorite outfits since the first iM@S game.

As I heard, the man behind the iM@S game is teasing a new one "as expected," after having launched a recent social game. It was announced at the end of the Samurai & Dragons Fan Meeting 2013 Summer event on Sunday but before you can announce what kind of iM@S game will be launching very soon, shouldn't you be feature the Punkish Gothic outfit on the PS3 version of iDOLM@STER 2? I know this is the request everyone's been demanding because this needs to be on that version now and that would be nice to have it so the whole DLC catalog for the PS3 version is complete and making them very happy, knowing that the PS3 version of iM@S 2 has everything that you'd expect on the XBOX 360 version plus the PS3 exclusives such as the Dressy Alice, Rainy Suzuran, Random Color Beauty, Digital Spacecraft, Cutie Insect, Weeping Wisteria, Burning Performer, Stratos Butterfly, Full bloom Yukata Dress, Starlight Agent, My Baby's Breath, Corduroy Country, Circuit Architect, Prima Concerto♪, Cardigan Schooler, Traditional Maid, Bright Eaglet, and Exotic China.

I'm asking this a favor, Namco Bandai, please make the Punkish Gothic (パンキッシュゴシック) outfit available on the PS3 version of THE iDOLM@STER 2 for just ¥1,500. Please do it before you can announce this new one you've been told last week. If not, when will you admit that not adding Punkish Gothic to the PS3 version of THE iDOLM@STER 2 is a big mistake?

Thank You.

1969 Dodge Dom's Daytona Charger

A custom machine driven by Dominic Torreto, played by Vin Diesel, from the movie, Fast and Furious 6, the sixth installment of The Fast and the Furious franchise. During the production of the film, the producers tweaked a 1969 Dodge Daytona Charger that cost them $5,000 when bought used so what they gonna do with this car is by pared down, sandblasted and rebuilt. It's still one of the good guys' car if you are joining alongside Dom and Brian in an effort to foil Owen Shaw's plans.

Let's Do The News! (June 2, 2013)

(cheers and applause)

RH: Uh...any particular reason why would you like the old CLK more than this?

JC: Well, probably because it can do things that the E-Class Coupe can't and most of all, has an AMG version that this one doesn't.

(audience laughing)

JC: Look, one particular reason why Mercedes-Benz didn't add an AMG version for the E-Class Coupe is when during its decision phase, the folks of Mercedes-Benz are deciding what to do on the current E-Class and then, AMG had a different approach, saying that the sedan version of the E-Class is (QUOTE) "the perfect car to be an AMG", so it's a long story.

RH: So, you're saying that the sedan version of the E-Class is the perfect car to be an AMG, why is this?

JC: Beats me. Good thing, they confessed that not adding an AMG version to the E-Class coupe was a big mistake and it's going to be resolved on the next model so in the meantime, I'd would rather stick to the CLK63 Black or for the better...a C63 AMG Black...

(audience laughing)

JC: It's more powerful, you know... Anyway, let's do the news!

JM: Indeed, the news folks, and BIG NEWS because we just heard that Doctor Who's Matt Smith will be retiring his role this Christmas 2013.

JC: Retiring? Matt Smith is retiring his Doctor Who role? He's retiring his BEST JOB in science-fiction history? I don't get it. We had him around for three years since The Eleventh Hour, which was Matt Smith's maiden voyage as the Eleventh Doctor in 2010 and he's the man who propelled Doctor Who as the flagship of BBC with thanks to current showrunner Steven Moffat. Hmmm....Steven F***ing Moffat. What a f***ing liberty...

(audience laughing)

JM: Anyway, the thing is about Mr. Matt Smith is he was voted Best Actor by Readers of Doctor Who Magazine for the 2010 season, he won Most Popular Male Drama Performance award in 2012 NTA, the first actor to to be nominated for a BAFTA in the role, one who revolutionizes bowties and fezzes as cool stuff, the man who yelled "GERONIMO" in the show, and starred alongside different partners such as Amy Pond (Karen Gillan), Rory Williams (Arthur Darvill) and most recently Clara Oswald (Jenna Coleman). Gosh... I really don't know where to start when Mr. Smith's tenure is up...

JC: Yeah, me too. And having Matt Smith retiring his Doctor Who role is just like Benedict XVI retiring his role as the Pope. Question is, who's going to replace Matt Smith for next year?

JM: Well, you know that current Pope Francis? He's a Latino and he's the one that broke the barriers as the first Latino Pope in Vatican history. Do you think there's going to be a Latin Doctor?

(audience laughing)

JC: A Latino playing The Doctor? Well, possibly but there is a main theory about how actors getting the role as Doctor Who. Think of it like..."conclave". A "conclave" for the actors willing to become Doctor Who. When there's black's still undecided but when it's white...

JM: There's a new Doctor coming...

(audience laughing)

JM: Yeah...enough about the "conclave" stuff but oh...that reminds you think that mystery man's going to be next?

JC: Who?

JM: Some mystery man who appeared at the Series 7 finale of Doctor Who titled "The Name of The Doctor".  Do you think he could be...IT?

(audience laughing)

JC: I don't know man but it's still a mystery so in the meantime...SPOILERS.

(audience laughing)

JC: Still, no matter the outcome, Doctor Who or no longer, it's still Matt Smith. We had high hopes for his life after Doctor Who and we also wait for the one where Matt Smith directed at...It's called "How To Catch a Monster". We're looking forward for Matt Smith, even life after Doctor Who.

(cheers and applause)

JC: What the?

RH: Oh, sorry. Text message...

(audience laughing)

JC: Anyway, tomorrow, most Filipinos are going to school either fully prepared or empty handed for now and the thing about first day of SY 2013-2014 is, how come students all over the nation after spending a two-month vacation are going to survive this new school year? I mean, there's some meeting of friends and enemies new and old alike, new subjects to learn, the K to 12 stuff, even more aggressive teachers, graded recitations, monthly and quarterly exams, Ibong Adarna, El Filibusterismo, so on, so forth, that's school life! How can students new and old alike can survive a new year of schooling?

JM: I don't know man. Maybe those changes were just one thing to make this school year a bit more complicating than the past. But there are some good moments such as competitions, foundation weeks, and the best bit of school year was...field trip.

JC: Field trip?

JM: Yep. It's when the entire school goes out for some adventure time in different places and sometimes they even give them a piece of day-off from school by swimming at some of the best resorts a student knows where. Sometimes, it's getting a bit too PBB teens...

(audience laughing)

JC: PBB Teens?

JM: Yes. Even in school life, there are some moments that are too...PBB Teens...

(audience laughing)

JM: Think of it like, for instance, you're in a costume party as...Finn. Then, all of your friends are dressing as their favorite Adventure Time characters such as PB (Princess Bubblegum), Marceline, Ice King, Lumpy, BMO, or Jake. When you guys get together...what do you call?

JC: Oh wait...PBB Teens?

(audience laughing)

RH: Uh, guys...Can you please enough of these PBB Teens nonsense! Can we please move on?!

JC: Okay. Sorry about that...(whispering) This is getting too PBB Teens...

(audience laughing)

JC: Anyway, there's a new game coming from Namco Bandai and it's available in the PS3 and PS Vita gaming console. It's called Super Heroine Chronicle and think of it like um...just like all the other crossover RPG games like Heroes Phantasia and Project X Zone. For this crossover RPG, heroines from several franchises join forces to save the world, ranging from Di Gi Charat, Koto from Kyousogiga, Red Angel and Blue Angel from Twin Angel, Super Sonico, Rena Ryugu from Higurashi (When They Cry), Hibiki Tachibana from Symphogear, Aria H. Kanzaki from Aria: The Scarlet Ammo, Houki Shinonono from IS, Louise from The Familiar of Zero, and Rem Ayanokouji from Dream Hunter Rem. Here's the clip that sums up...

(cheers and applause)

RH: Wow! Another mashup of the best anime heroines in one game since the other mashup RPG games like Namco X Capcom, Heroes Phantasia, and Project X Zone. Can't get any better than this!

JC: Agreed, Hammond! And that's the news!

JM: Yeah and before we end the news, since Hammond got his ringtone set to Everything's Better With Perry, do you think this is the best Phineas and Ferb song of all time? Or what about I'm Me? Do you think this is better? Log on to and look for the VOTE link where you'll be decide which of your favorite P&F song will be the best and tune in on Disney Channel this June 28 and let special guest Kelly Osbourne counting down the best P and F songs in order.

Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe and Cabriolet Minor Change

2014 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe and Cabriolet

Along with the sedan and estate, the coupe versions and cabriolet versions of the Mercedes-Benz E-Class W212 were given a minor change as well. Although it is essentially a minor change for these two-door brothers thanks to its new schnoz, it feels like it has nothing in common with the sedan and tourer equivalents because...well, let's find out...

First of all, it's still not as sporty to drive as the sedan and tourer equivalents even though two-doors is enough to call it a driver-focused model of the E-Class family. Think about it, folks. Even though the Coupe and Cabriolet E-Class models are more than enough to satisfy an unnecessary selfie, it's not quite qualified to be more of a thoroughbred rather than being a sophisticated two-door saloon car for the privileged few who are always self-centered. Alpha males just don't get it because even though the E-Class Coupe and Cabriolet were made just for them, they would rather go for the old-fashioned CLK instead because...well, you know why.

Anyway, while these two are not classified to be called "sports cars", both the new E-Class Coupe and Cabriolet models are designed to be more of an "everyday car" because if you were the sort of selfie who takes them out for a stroll in, well, let's just say EDSA or Quezon City, or Bonifacio Global City, these cars were made to be head-turners because when every time there's someone saw you around driving one of those, you'd be rather be mistaken for a high-profile celebrity going out for a dinner with a special someone that you can't tell to anyone.

Of course, rather than being a head-turner, it's a comfortable car as well. It's like you're making a bland mushroom soup from a can very exciting to eat by putting some milk and some tuna. I like it. I made that meal myself, though. Anyway, while it has the feeling of sipping your freshly cooked meal, there is a bit of a problem about these; they're not quite exciting to drive those either, even when you take these on one of the world's best driving roads. It feels like that you went to the best rollercoaster in town and 5 seconds later, it's over. It's not quite an Enchanted Kingdom-level of excitement but rather...a Pixie Forest-level of excitement. Oh, and if you don't know what a Pixie Forest was, it's on the Festival Supermall. Those who find it boring don't go there and instead go to X-Site. It's more fun though.

2014 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe and Cabriolet interior

Engine ranges include a 2.0L turbo petrol engine, 3.0L V6 turbo petrol engine, a 2.1L diesel engine, and a 3.0L V6 diesel engine may seem to be rather fine but it seems that none of those engine types that tickles your fancy. Even with the most powerful engine in the lineup which produces 333hp of power and an electronically limited top speed of 155mph, it feels a bit Jon Tickle than a tickle machine and even if you're acting like a Brainiac like what speedo boys do, it's not quite more exciting even though it's short on power compared to its AMG-badged predecessor, the old CLK which was built until 2009. Boo...

Like the four-door equivalents, both the E-Class Coupe and Cabriolet also comes with host of safety features, most that will be appeared on the next S-Class, such as  PRE-SAFE PLUS, ATTENTION ASSIST driver drowsiness monitor, Driver Assistance Package with DISTRONIC PLUS adaptive cruise control with Steering Assist and PRE-SAFE Brake, plus Active Blind Spot Assist and Active Lane Keeping Assist, and PARKTRONIC with enhanced Active Parking Assist. Not only this car is more of an everyday car, it's safer as well because thanks to all of these features, this car cares about the driver more than the car itself. Hmmm...

Meh...I'd rather not sold to this new model anyway. With times like this, best to go back to the old CLK instead because not only it's more exciting to drive than the new E-Class Coupe and Cabriolet, it has the hotter version that these two...isn't. Fat chance, kid. Fat chance...
