Monster Hunter World

CAPCOM's flagship role-playing game returns on the PS4 and for those who are familiar or new to the franchise, Monster Hunter World promises to be the biggest Monster Hunter adventure they'll ever play with new and exciting ways to get accommodated with the latest installment where like every Monster Hunter game everyone knows, hunting down the most powerful monsters ever feared and craft powerful equipment for your next monster hunting missions you'll ever face.

Monster Hunter World

Available exclusively on the Playstation4, Monster Hunter World is the most immense installment of the Monster Hunter franchise and by immense, it really is because when you're playing this game on your PS4 Pro and your 4K Ultra HD TV, the graphics are breathtaking and livelier than ever before but don't get too amused over the graphics provided by this game because this is all hard work and it will take days or months before beating the game single-handed.

Before setting off, players can customize their own character and their own Palico (their Felyne companion) and when done, their monster hunting quest begins. For every good hunter comes a wide array of weapons to master and in this game, there are different unique weapon types to choose from. From close-range weapons to long-range ones like the slingers, there are different ways to master different kinds of weapons in the face of defeating monsters but bear in mind that some weapons might lose its sharpness every time you attack with them and it's recommended that you pack some whetstones to maintain its sharpness level. The more you know.

Now, what about surroundings? In Monster Hunter World, there are different surroundings you can explore and each area is packed with treats and threats you might encounter but sometimes, you might end up getting lost so that's why it's best to check the map before setting off but that's not enough to discover what lurks around the place you're setting foot. Fortunately, there is a Scoutfly somewhere and with the help of your little critters, it can detect monster tracks, items, even Slinger ammunition as well. They're useful when you're not in a middle of a combat.

Next, monsters, and no matter how big and small you might come across, you need to be prepared with a different strategy when facing off against these beasts. From small ones like the Jagras to monstrously big ones like the Anjanath, it takes a well-prepared hunter to vanquish these foes and if they did, they can take home some rewards that will be proven useful for their next mission. The monsters you defeated may drop some parts you need to craft powerful items such as weapons and armor and if you are itching for something you really want, hunt and hunt again until you completed the ingredients to create the ideal equipment for the job.

Defeating monsters by yourself sounds challenging but fun but playing this game with other players online is expensive but enjoyable if you're trying to get the most out of your Monster Hunter World experience. Yes, online multiplayer is expensive nowadays but if you can afford the subscription, you can enjoy this game with other people online because nothing's more stronger than teamwork.

To sum up, Monster Hunter World is a lengthy RPG game that takes a lot of manpower to conquer the game single-handed and because this game is all hard work, you're wasting precious time on the things that you love but as you get used to it, this game is very rewarding when you keep trying harder. That's what this game is all about so enjoy your newest monster hunting experience, hunters. You're going to need it.

Compare Peace Walker to Monster Hunter Freedom Unite

While we wait for Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker to arrive in Asia this April 29, US in June 8, Europe in June 17, and U.K. in June 18, we found some alternative co-op game others want to recommend it to others...
Monster Hunter Freedom Unite Box Front

Capcom's Monster Hunter: Freedom Unite (日本名:モンスターハンターポータブル2nd G) for the PSP allows players work together as a team and use an array of weapons to take down monstrous foes. Of course, this game allows you to play by yourself or play with a friend.

Now what happens when two worlds collide?

Since April 7, the day when the final specs of MGSPW were released, Konami teamed up with Capcom (famous for Street Fighter, Resident Evil, Mega Man, and Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney games) to see how Peace Walker is better than Monster Hunter Freedom Unite. Of course, playing yourself or with a friend is much more exciting to take down giant monsters with your MGS weapons.

(Geez, better buy this Monster Hunter game and see how solo or co-op is best works for me)

My comment: One word which makes Peace Walker and MH: Freedom Unite have in common: cooperation. Team work pays off.
