Madame Web

Another web has spun into the Marvel universe; this time, it's neither Spider-Man nor Venom. It's about an ordinary woman with an extraordinary power no one saw it coming.

Madame Web

Madame Web, an edge-of-your-seat suspense thriller from the world of Marvel, stars Dakota Johnson as Cassandra Webb, a paramedic who got caught in a terrifying accident, causing her to gain the power to foresee terrible futures and avert them by all means. As Cassandra is caught in a shocking web of revelations, she'll need more than just her to avert her destiny.

Although a paradigm shift from typical Marvel superhero shenanigans, this movie feels like a combination of Stephen King and That's So Raven. You had a main character who can see the future, only darker, and it's a race against time to prevent the inevitable, especially when a killer reminiscent of Venom from Spider-Man 3, shifts this movie into a deadly cat-and-mouse chase.

Full of twists and turns, this movie is impossible to guess and doublethink, and it will leave you entangled in Marvel fashion.

Don't come watching this movie unprepared because of the unanswered questions this movie possesses. It will spiral you down. If you are fully prepared or overprepared, then Madame Web is a no-brainer for you. Just enjoy it until the last drop.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-verse

Miles Morales and his web warrior pals are back in the long-awaited sequel to the hit animated movie, Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse, and this time, he's on a mission to unite the web warriors as they're facing a powerful threat.

Spider-Man: Across the Spiderverse
Spider-Man: Across the Spiderverse

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-verse is the long-awaited sequel to the award-winning animated movie, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse, where it picks up moments after the first Spider-verse movie as Miles Morales returns for his newest adventure as Spider-Man.

In this sequel, Miles Morales is caught in a middle of a heated argument between the other web warriors as they are dealing with a powerful new threat no one's winning. Racing against time, Miles is on a mission to unite the web warriors and save the Spider-verse, whatever it takes.

Like the previous Spider-verse movie, the sequel still packs the same formula; comedy, drama, action, and moral values. The latter is what was championed the most in the first one and the sequel is no exception because this movie is all about the value of teamwork because, for the web warriors in this sequel, nobody wins if they battle alone and with the power of teamwork, superior numbers will win the day.

Because of the moral values that served as the top priority of this sequel, Across the Spider-verse is no doubt one of the must-watch movies ahead of the summer season, and those who have watched the first Spider-verse movie are looking forward to continuing Miles Morales' story in this sequel.

Trust them. The world, no, the universe needs more than one friendly neighborhood...again.

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3

Having survived the endgame against Thanos and spending Thor's day off with thunderous results, looks like the Guardians of the Galaxy have met their end of the road in the newest installment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy
Vol. 3

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 is the third and possibly final outing of our favorite group of renegades as they're facing their biggest challenge yet. In this movie, Peter "Star-Lord" Quill and his friends are setting off to Knowhere, only to be interrupted by Rocket Raccoon's dark pasts. With Rocket in danger, it's a do-or-die for the Guardians of the Galaxy as they're facing their biggest challenge yet.

This movie finally showcases the emotional and dark side of Star-Lord and his pals after moments of their zany exploits and their hilarious rollercoaster ride to save the galaxy against ugly customers standing in their way. The folks from Marvel coined it as the last ride for the Guardians of the Galaxy but fans don't want to see them gone because...they need them for an imminent Avengers-sized threat heading soon.

Still, with an insane blend of action, comedy, humor, and thrills, this is the Guardians of the Galaxy at its fit of peak and although it's sad to see them go, it's a clear reminder that they're the best troupe in comic book superhero greats. You can't really put a joke on them.

Don't leave us, Guardians of the Galaxy!

Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania

A new phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe has kicked off with Ant-Man and The Wasp's newest adventure as the whole family is uncovering the secrets of the Quantum Realm, something that can change the outcome of the MCU franchise.

Ant-Man and The Wasp:
Quantumania

Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania kicks off the fifth phase of the MCU with bold twists and turns the whole family will face as they're uncovering the secrets of the Quantum Realm. In this movie, the duo and their family are ended up exploring the Quantum Realm in search of answers, only to find out that everything's far more than they're expecting.

With Scott's daughter, Cassie (now played by Kathryn Newton) now following in her father's footsteps in the movie, looks like the MCU hero roster has gained a new face, which sounds like a welcoming feat for the franchise.

Apart from Cassie, this movie features powerful new enemies that could become regulars in this new phase of the MCU, something far more terrifying than The Infinity War's Thanos. Those who had a glimpse of these powerful new threats should watch out for them.

This movie is like Journey to the Center of the Earth with a Marvel twist because with the whole family exploring through unknown worlds, Quantumania is part insane, part fun, and an all-out blitz play. A real action adventure treat that was catered to Marvel standards.

Quantumania truly is a fitting start to the newest phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and whatever happens, in the end, is a sign of things to come for this franchise. You better get ready for more action after this.

Marvel's Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

Ever since the death of Chadwick Boseman, the actor famed for playing the Black Panther, chances of making the sequel movie has thrown into complete turmoil but for the folks from Marvel, the story of the Black Panther lives on because they don't want to end like this. In response, the newest chapter of the Marvel Cinematic Universe has arrived and it promises to be a fitting tribute for the Black Panther.

Marvel's Black Panther:
Wakanda Forever

The newest MCU installment, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, is by far the darkest installment the MCU franchise has ever faced but it's by no means one of the most thrilling movies to come out in the fall season.

In this movie, Wakanda is facing the brink of destruction as the kingdom mourns the passing of King T'Challa, the Black Panther. With Namor, the king of Talokan, and the whole world turning against Wakanda, it's up to those who are loyal to T'Challa to protect their beloved kingdom by any means necessary.

A Black Panther movie without the Black Panther delivered moviegoers with a sorrowful undertone but all that sorrow transformed into fury and all that fury transformed this movie into a balls-out explosive action with all of the drama involved.

Drama aside, Wakanda Forever is another Marvel masterpiece that celebrates the heroines who made it possible just like other MCU movies like Captain Marvel and Black Widow, but it's more than that because the main heroines in this film are paying tribute to the late Chadwick Boseman. Yes, there are hints that the MCU franchise is getting diverse but with Wakanda Forever, it's slowly tipping the scales and fans would really wish there should be more MCU flicks like this that celebrate women in action.

With sorrow, rage, and a hint of girl power, Wakanda Forever is a clear sign that the Black Panther story goes on and as hinted with the arrival of a new Black Panther in this movie, it's worth passing it on.

Thor: Love and Thunder

The god of thunder returns on his most exciting adventure as he and his friends are on an all-out riot against a terrifying god killer in the MCU's newest installment.

Thor: Love and Thunder
Thor: Love and Thunder

Thor: Love and Thunder is the latest installment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe where the god of thunder teams up with old and new faces in this all-out riot. Set moments after their victory from Avengers: Endgame, Thor tries to find some peace and quiet until Gorr the God Butcher unleashed an evil plot to eradicate all gods. Teaming up with his old flame Jane (who now wields the Mjolnir as the Mighty Thor), King Valkyrie, Korg, and the Guardians of the Galaxy, they must work together to foil Gorr's sinister plot before it's too late. How hard can it be?

This movie goes to show that superheroes can't go on a break, especially for an Asgardian god like him. Still, this hilarious rollercoaster ride delivers high-voltage moments that will bring viewers edge-of-their-seat fun and excitement from start to finish. Explosive action, intense thrills, and comic relief, this is what Thor's latest adventure is all about and it's one of the must-watch movies of the summer season.

If you want a movie that will rock your summer, consider this.

Marvel's Doctor Strange in The Multiverse of Madness

Last year's Spider-Man: No Way Home demonstrated to fans the devastating but awesome power of the Multiverse, which could serve as the new direction in future Marvel movies. Following the events of No Way Home, Doctor Strange tries to dig deeper into the Multiverse with the latest addition from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Marvel's Doctor Strange in
The Multiverse of Madness

With Benedict Cumberbatch reprising the role of the titular Marvel superhero, Doctor Strange in The Multiverse of Madness digs deeper into the devastating but awesome possibilities of the Multiverse, some are cool but others are sinister.

Unlike last year's Spider-Man: No Way Home, which is by no means one of the best superhero films in the MCU since Avengers Endgame, The Multiverse of Madness delivers the darkest twists and turns that will leave fans losing their sanity until the end of the film. It's easy to get lost in the movie's dark undertones and there's no way home from this madness. Pun intended.

With a quick blend of action, horror, and adventure, viewers will find The Multiverse of Madness the biggest madhouse Marvel's ever unleashed and it really feels like an inferno from start to finish. It throws moviegoers everything this movie has and the endgame is a dark and explosive Marvel movie that can rock the Spring movie season like an earthquake.

Are you ready to enter The Multiverse of Madness? If so, good luck.

Spider-Man: No Way Home

Our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is back to face the greatest challenge ever faced in the newest installment of the Spider-Man movies starring Tom Holland as our favorite web-slinger...or that's what he used to be...

Spider-Man: No Way Home

Spider-Man: No Way Home is the third Spider-Man movie of the Tom Holland era which began with Homecoming in 2017 and then followed by Far From Home in 2019, which is set after the dramatic events of Avengers Endgame. Guess "home" really is where the Tom Holland era of Spider-Man movies is after all, but not in this third installment because all that's about to change for him.

In this gripping installment that will forever change the course of Spider-Man's involvement in the MCU franchise, Peter Parker's identity as Spider-Man has been fully exposed, and with the whole world's turning against him, his team-up with Doctor Strange (played by Benedict Cumberbatch) puts this web-slinging superhero to a more dangerous path he'll face.

This latest installment is where the moral lesson "with great power comes great responsibility" is taken to the extremes as Spider-Man or should the world say, Peter Parker, faces the most perilous challenge of his life. Full of drama, action, and thrills, No Way Home delivers the most intense moments in MCU history and it truly is a tailspin from start to finish. Fans and newcomers of the Marvel Cinematic Universe will keep them hanging until the very end and it's a definite talk of the town you can't escape from.

Thanks to its shocking turn of developments, No Way Home is a must-watch for the holiday season, and what better way to spend the holidays than watching Spider-Man facing the most perilous battle of his life? Whatever the reason, enjoy watching the latest Spider-Man movie that will literally blow your minds off.

Marvel Studios' Eternals

In the world of Marvel superheroes, who are the Eternals, and what are their main purpose? The latest installment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe uncovers more about the godlike beings watching over time and space since the very beginning.

Marvel Studios' Eternals

Kingo, Gilgamesh, Thena, Ajak, Makkari, Sprite, Sersi, Druig, Ikaris, and Phastos. These ten immortal beings are known as the Eternals and they're known to watch how the earth unfolds following the events of the Infinity War. Starring Salma Hayek, Angelina Jolie, and Kumail Nanjiani, among many others, this movie pits these immortals against the wrath of the Deviants plotting to alter the timeline and the Celestials who created them.

Unlike the MCU power hits, Eternals is less on thrills and action and more on drama, which truly cramps its style as a superhero movie. Although there are almost no sweet spots to nail moviegoers like a real Marvel superhero movie, the storytelling really connects the current phase of the MCU that was spearheaded by the previous Marvel movie, Shang-Chi. Despite being an ambitious big-budget masterpiece like every superhero movie should, it feels more of a cheese-fest and lacks the explosive feel moviegoers need but it's still a good movie to enjoy.

Although being a cheese-fest for an MCU installment with a bountiful of unanswered questions, this movie is sensible, dramatic, and thought-provoking in every way. No matter the outcome, this movie truly connects with the current phase of the MCU franchise, and expect more things to come from this franchise after Eternals.

Marvel's Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings

Marvel's most controversial and newest superhero movie has arrived, and what better way to end the summer season than introducing the first Asian superhero from the Marvel Cinematic Universe franchise to the world? Like it or not, Shang-Chi has arrived.

Marvel's Shang-Chi
And The Legend Of The Ten Rings

Starring Simu Liu as the titular character, Tony Leung, Awkwafina, and many others, the newest entry to the Marvel Cinematic Universe is about a young man who tries to confront his pasts while he was getting involved with the mysterious Ten Rings organization.

Why is it controversial, you may ask? The producers are shaping what will this titular hero be before getting adapted to the big screen. Of course, there are plenty of loopholes and loose ends regarding the hero's concept as well as some controversial undertones lurking beneath the hero's origins. By reshaping Shang-Chi to the big-screen adaptation, they wanted to make sure that he's a certified Marvel superhero, no matter what.

While such results yield mixed comments from the MCU fanatics, this movie also suffers the same loopholes and loose ends as the character concept itself. Like for instance, the character Awkwafina played in this movie. It's a long story short but this is why this movie is controversial in every way.

However, despite being a controversial movie that yielded some mixed reactions, it's a great movie to watch from the beginning to the end and no matter the outcome, this movie is proof that the folks from Marvel are ending the summer season with their newest superhero that will mark a whole new legacy in the MCU franchise, whatever that means.

Like it or not, the arrival of Shang-Chi in the MCU marks a new beginning to the MCU franchise and whichever direction it's heading, expect big things to come after this film.

Spider-Man: Far From Home

In the aftermath of last Spring's Avengers Endgame, there are a handful of Marvel superheroes reeling from what happened after the film, even Spider-Man tries to figure it out what might have been piece by piece but still, with a long way to go for our friendly neighborhood who once crashed a basketball game in real time (anyone remember?), Spider-Man sets off to a big adventure stretches through Europe.

Spider-Man: Far From Home

Spider-Man: Far From Home is the latest installment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and this film is set after the events of Avengers Endgame that the viewers blew their minds off a few months ago as Peter Parker and the gang set off for a trip across Europe until a powerful new threat emerges. It stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker (Spider-Man), Jake Gyllenhaal as Mysterio, Zendaya as MJ, Jon Favreau as Happy Hogan, and Marisa Tomei as Mary Parker, with a special participation of, well, if you haven't saw the Endgame, you'd missed out on you know who.

Our friendly neighborhood still has a long way to go after Endgame and with Far From Home, there are so much challenges he will face in an epic European adventure that will tickle the fancies of every moviegoers looking for some adventures, thrills, and of course, Spider-Man. Watching this film is like having your life getting interrupted by Spider-Man in the same way that he interrupted a basketball game without reason. This is definitely the ideal party popper of the Summer movie season and if you want to have your life interrupted by Spider-Man, be sure to watch this film because there are plenty of reasons why this could be the best summer movie to watch but there is one very good reason why you should; SPIDER-MAN!

Dark Phoenix

Jean Grey is hands down one of the most iconic X-MEN villains of all time because of her destructive mutant powers that caused so much misery to the X-MEN and in what was known to be the last installment of the X-MEN main series (although this is the twelfth of the film franchise), fans will go deeper to the secret origin of Jean Grey while witnessing her transformation from a heroine to a dark heroine that rain down destruction to the X-MEN.

Dark Phoenix
Set after the events of X-Men Apocalypse, penned and directed by Simon Kinberg, and starring Sophie Turner, James McAvoy, and Michael Fassbender, among many others, this origin story delves deeper to the rise of Jean Grey as her near death experience during the mutants' space mission caused her to develop superpowers and then abused it, turning her into the dark heroine we are familiar now, leaving the X-MEN second thoughts about eliminating their colleague once and for all.

We are getting hooked on who Jean Grey is ever since fans first saw her in X-MEN: The Last Stand while trying to dig down every pages of the X-MEN comic books to discover the hidden truth behind this dark heroine and thanks to this explosive film, the feeling of getting to know Jean Grey is now within reach and while digging deeper to the dark storytelling, this film delivers one hell of a thriller in typical X-MEN fashion and once you get hooked to it, there's no turning back and it takes a lot of guts to survive through the end of the film and doublethink just how terrifying, dark, and gritty this X-MEN movie is.

Terrifying, dark, and gritty it is but this X-MEN film uncovering Jean Grey's past is the main reason why fans will definitely get out and see it.

My rating: 3.8 out of 5.

Avengers Endgame

Marvel fans of all ages were truly blown away with the success of Avengers Infinity War but left shocked when what happens at the end of that film is a cliffhanger that left them asking what's next for what's left from the Avengers in the aftermath of the Infinity War. Now, a year later, the answer has finally solved in the final chapter of the Avengers saga that will surely dominate the box office sales of the year, whatever it takes.

Avengers Endgame

Endgame marks the final chapter of the Avengers saga and this film promises to be the film that will end all films straight from the Marvel Cinema Universe series. Set five years after the Infinity War, the remaining members of the Avengers are preparing to pay back for what Thanos did to the world and thanks to some juicy info from Scott Lang, also known as Ant-Man, the Avengers must cross through different timelines via the Quantum Field and retrieve the six Infinity Stones in order to bring back their fallen comrades.

Sceptics thought that because of what remains in this film, Endgame may not be as big as the Infinity War last year but I can gladly confirm that they are wrong because as fans watched the film from start to finish, Endgame is by no means the ultimate MCU film that will leave them breathless and get blown away with its powerful storytelling, powerful soundtrack, and explosive fight scenes that will deliver the "endgame" fans have waited for since the Infinity War.

Behind the explosive action Endgame delivers comes with some dents and that are some jokes managed to butt through the epic Marvel superhero mashup but the biggest dent in Endgame is...the concept car from Audi. Nothing more.

Nevertheless, Endgame is the biggest sendoff to the Avengers saga and whatever comes next after the Endgame is entirely up for the community to decide while keeping their promises not to spoil the film for everyone to talk to. It truly is the film that will end all films straight from the Marvel Cinema Universe series.

My rating: 4.9 out of 5

Captain Marvel

One of the much-awaited films to watch before the Spring season starts in full swing, Captain Marvel is one of the clear examples of what happens when you have a strong female character defy all odds to become the universe's greatest hero. Now that she's here, there's so much to talk about this newest Marvel film.

Captain Marvel

With Brie Larson playing the titular character, Captain Marvel is set in the 90's, an era never yet discovered in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, where a young woman named Carol Danvers is destined to become one of the universe's most powerful heroes when a war between two alien races clashed through Earth.

Although some say that this film wasted two precious hours over their light storyline that doesn't live up to the hype they promised, there are so many good reasons why you should enjoy Captain Marvel because while you were not chattering about the niggles of the film, this film lets viewers witness an era unheard in the MCU as well as seeing the young Nick Fury, long before he became the S.H.I.E.L.D. boss in other MCU films.

It really is the bridge between the past, present, and the future that keeps us surprised but when it comes to label Captain Marvel as inspiring, you'd be right because this is the true embodiment of girl power and since March is the month of women, what better way of showcasing how great women are just by showing Captain Marvel to the world's women to see. That really is something worth watching from start to end.

My rating: 3.7 out of 5.

Marvel's Ant-Man and The Wasp

The Infinity War is already over and with almost all of the Marvel superheroes sealed their fate at the hands of the titan Thanos, the question is that in the aftermath of the Infinity War that fans saw months ago, will the Marvel Cinema Universe continue now that the Avengers are wiped out from history? The question is a big loud YES and this latest film shows that the war rages on at the hands of those who never caught themselves at this mess the Avengers set foot at the Infinity War.

Marvel's Ant-Man and The Wasp

A sequel to the 2015 film and the 20th of the MCU franchise, Ant-Man and The Wasp stars Paul Rudd as Scott Lang, who is now under house arrest following his involvement at the Civil War with Captain America years ago, as he is rejoined by Dr. Hank Pym to take on a ruthless adversary called herself the Ghost. However, because he's in a messed-up state, he joins alongside Hank's daughter, Hope Van Dyne (played by Evangeline Lilly) who is now the new Wasp.

There are one or two things this sequel is somewhat made viewers noticed the most and that is its too much of a gag rather than an proper superhero film. The titular Ant-Man tries to make it a more serious hero compared to his first outing three years ago but in the end, his messed-up state just makes him more of a clown dressed up as a toy. Whoa, where did we heard that before? The Pez part is kinda fun, by the way. Anyway, another thing that keeps them noticed that the appearance of Ghost and The Wasp really overshadowed Ant-Man's appearance because, being portrayed by strong female actresses, we can really feel the woman's wrath through our winning vegetables and we can't imagine what's next for them. Lastly, and more annoyingly, Hyundai joins the fray as the all-new, second-generation, Veloster, became Ant-Man's new toy car, and like the car itself, it wants to "live loud" through the film, whatever it says.

Despite the little chinks, there is one inescapable fact. This film previews a whole new direction of the Marvel Cinema Universe following the aftermath of the Infinity War. Through the film, some of the characters are talking about a subatomic spacial void called the Quantum Realm, the one where Hope's mother, Janet Van Dyne, sealed her fate through this to save Hank and the rest of the film. With the Quantum Realm mentioned, could this be the new plotline the MCU franchise heads on?

Whatever that is, Ant-Man and The Wasp really is foretelling the future of the MCU in a rather amusing kind of way and while we can expect more about this Quantum Realm thingy, this film shows that the MCU still stands even if the Infinity War has ended with dire consequences and looks like they're onto something here.

My rating: 3.9 out of 5

Deadpool 2

The mutant everybody loves to hate returns for his second coming as Deadpool returns with more explosives, more jokes, and more Deadpool than his previous film. Sadly, before I had the chance to talk about it, Deadpool's here and I need to steer away from him so he can tell you how the new movie made Deadpool great again. Get it? Make Deadpool Great Again. Anyway, I'm off and he's here for his professional words.

Deadpool 2

Ooh, someone ran away with some chimichangas left on the table, sweet! Anyway, before we begin, can I just ask you one thing why I AM SUPER ANGRY right now because that big superhero film you just saw, what was that again? Something infinite? Anyway, the reason why I'm angry right now because the A*******s didn't invite me on their film. You know what? If I was in that film, I would have knocked T****s out in a zip! Well, never mind about that. Taking my rage against them, I made my own movie so awesome, the A*******s will beg for mercy over me. Oh wait, they're not here, right? Because they're already .......

(STATIC)

Anyway, where was I? Oh yes! About my sequel, you got to love this DP2 by the way because with this film, I WILL MAKE DEADPOOL GREAT AGAIN. Heard that, Mr. Prez? MAKE DEADPOOL GREAT AGAIN! I got some new friends, new weapons, and new jokes you can laugh it out and I hope most of you love my masterpiece worthy enough to take your hearts. No, not the Indiana Jones kind of take your heart, that other thing. OK, so like you guys saw in the trailer so many times, I'm up against this guy who looked like The Terminator who is gunning up against that boy I'm supposed to protect and in order to stop him, I'm gonna need some help with the other mutants who got rejected by the X-MEN films and together, we're going to save the world from that bad guy. Got it? Good.

First of all, I would like to give a glass for my BFF, Ryan Reynolds, for playing me once again. By the way, congrats, Ryan. I heard you're going to be that little mouse on next year's film. Who is it again? He's yellow, he's a mouse, and he's electric. Anyway, never mind all that but big hand of applause for my BFF over there and with my good friends starring in my film such as Josh Brolin, Morena Baccarin, Julian Dennison, Zazie Beetz, T.J. Miller, Brianna Hildebrand, Jack Kesy, and my director pal David Leitch.

So, what are your thoughts and suggestions about my DP2 film, huh? I know, I know, a few of you called it flipping horrific and a dropload of s**t. Hey, you know what? We're not friends anymore if you said something mean about  my film and guess what? That's FAKE NEWS to you! But my supporters told me they love this film more than the I_______ W____ and don't worry, my dear supporters. I'm not going to dissolve at the end, well, almost.

Apart from that, my other supporters called it the main reason why they made Deadpool great again. Hey! That's some strong words, man! Fist bump? Anyway, you got their words but the next time you call my film rubbish, I'll throw you to the nation where people taking drugs get killed, got it? Good. So watch my DP2 film, folks. YOU WILL LOVE IT. Trust me. Anyway, guess my time is up folks because my adoring fans need me. Ta-ta! KEEP DEADPOOL GREAT AGAIN!

By the way? Before I go, what did you guys hear? YANNI or LAUREL?

Thank you, Mr. Deadpool, for such words. Anyway...

My rating: 4.2 out of 5.

Avengers Infinity War

The Marvel Cinema Universe keeps on expanding with the likes of The Avengers, Spider-Man, Civil War, Doctor Strange, Black Panther, and Guardians of the Galaxy and at last, Marvel Studios' ultimate tour de force has arrived and with the Infinity War, the dawn of the endless war has just begun in spectacular levels as the Marvel superheroes take on the most powerful foe yet.

Avengers Infinity War

Featuring an all-star cast of Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Benedict Cumberbatch, Don Cheadle, Tom Holland, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Danai Gurira, Letitia Wright, Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana, Josh Brolin, and Chris Pratt, the Infinity War sees the Marvel Superheroes' might to the test as they are united to take on the most powerful foe in the Marvel universe, a titan known as Thanos and his men as his ultimate plot is to gain control of the six Infinity Stones and end the universe with a snap.

Loyal to everyone's words that nobody should blow spoilers even after watching the film, there's so much to explain about the long-awaited installment of the Marvel Cinema Universe franchise and while it breaks hearts to say, it's an honor to see most of the Marvel superheroes come together to take on such an endless war against a powerful foe and thanks to such explosive storyline, it really is insane from the start and the endgame really left viewers breathless. Leaving viewers breathless, they get easily petrified over what's next for the MCU franchise post-Infinity War.

So, now that the whole world witnessed the infinite warfare the Marvel Superheroes dragged to, question is, do we expect more Marvel superhero flicks after the Infinity War? Yes, there will be but in the meantime, feel free to get yourself blown by the sheer explosive action this film delivers and when you finish the whole film, even the credits roll, there's a lot of explanation to deal with because there are no words to describe Marvel Studios' ultimate masterpiece yet.

My rating: 4.6 out of 5.

Black Panther

Because February in America is known as Black History Month, the folks from Marvel celebrated this month with one of the boldest superhero flicks ever made, showing the world, especially in this political climate we're facing now, what black people are capable of in the world of superhero flicks in the film adaptation of Black Panther.

Black Panther

Crafted by director Ryan Coogler, Black Panther features a predominantly black cast and crew featuring Chadwick Boseman as T'Challa, the Black Panther, The Jungle Book's Lupita Nyong'o as Nakia, The Walking Dead's Danai Gurira as Okoye, and Creed's Michael B. Jordan as villain Erik Killmonger, a mercenary plotting revenge against the nation of Wakanda. It also stars Martin Freeman as the CIA agent, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker, and Andy Serkis, with a special cameo appearance of (ahem) you get the point but he's everywhere in every Marvel flick we ran into.

T'Challa, played by Boseman, returns to the kingdom of Wakanda to become the new king following the death of his father in a middle of a terrorist attack. However, with the sudden arrival of his old foe plotting to dethrone him, T'Challa's reign as the king of Wakanda is tested as he's engulfed in the conflict that will decide the fate of this isolated, technologically advanced nation.

Reading the tide of the times, Black Panther really is a relative movie that makes us think everything we saw in this film is related with the times we're facing right now and that makes everyone before watching the film very concern. Yes, we all got the whole Black Lives stuff that has been making headlines for so long and all of the white supremacist nonsense that has been plaguing the streets and in politics, but like every concerned people, even blacks, said, this film is a powerful reminder of what people of color can do even in a superhero flick like this. It's all about color for change and a clear example of what people can do in extraordinary ways when they're not taking their racial backgrounds for granted.

As the film progresses, we are starting to admire the strong Black feminism Lupita and Danai portrayed in this film, making them the ideal inspiration for Black women across America to make great strides not just in Hollywood but all around. We are starting to admire Michael B. Jordan's villainous role that reflects today's times, we love the film's background we love the fight scenes, the plot twists, it's everything we'd hope for in a superhero flick that celebrates Black heritage.

There are some drawbacks in this film that are too noticeable in the human eye like in the Busan scene where it doesn't look like it's Busan because it's too obvious but the biggest drawback is the appearance of a Lexus vehicle I don't really like. Yes, they've featured a Lexus GS F, which made us very jealous to have one someday, but annoyingly, they've featured the all-new Lexus LC 500 sports coupe, a car you've played one on GT Sport. Enough said.

Despite the faults and some few laughs in between, Black Panther is more than just a movie, it's a celebration of how people of color portray themselves in a historical and impressive kind of way and we have to give Marvel a heart-warming thanks for this incredible film. Looks like Black Panther's got our vote.

Thor Ragnarok

Last year, Marvel brought us the epic superhero showdown between Captain America and Iron Man in Civil War and that movie packed some surprises in the heat of the battle. Now, it's the god of lightning's turn to make his own mark and forge uneasy alliances in his latest Thor movie that makes us think Thor's prepared for the endless war he's facing much like Captain America, Iron Man, Spiderman and the other Marvel superheroes.

Thor Ragnarok

The game, ladies and gentlemen is on as Thor is back in his third film titled Thor Ragnarok and this will be Thor's most challenging adventure yet. Thor is locked up on the other side of the universe while Asgard is now under the hands of a ruthless femme fatale named Hela. Unarmed, Thor enters a deadly game in order to save his kingdom from despair and destruction and this involves a one-on-one fight against...wait for it...The Incredible Hulk?!

This new film starting to feel like Civil War again but because with Asgard's at stake, Thor will risk everything to win the game and foil Hela's plot to unleash Ragnarok on the kingdom of Asgard. It all makes sense now but this film has some heavy metal 80's vibes on it and judging by how it feels, it's about as nostalgic as watching Heavy Metal while listening to the sounds of...you guessed, Heavy Metal. With uneasy alliances in store for Thor, this is going to be the most exciting Thor movie yet as the whole world's ready to see if even if the film ends, Thor is ready for the endless war every Marvel superheroes are preparing for, whatever lay ahead.

Seeing Hulk and Thor together in this film is a dream come true for Marvel fans because with Captain America and Iron Man had their fun in Civil War, its their turn to turn the tables between the mightiest superheroes except this isn't about fighting for what's right. They're here because they are now trapped in a deadly game and hence the Ragnarok name in the Thor movie, who's going to level themselves up to the top, hmmm? No, that's absurd but still, this Thor movie has leveled up to the max and it can really bang your head for your buck with the all the action and the thrills you can expect in a Marvel movie like this. The game is on but the question is after the film, are they ready for the dawn of the endless war?

My rating: 4.3 out of 5.

Spider-Man Homecoming

Last year, Marvel fans got shocked when their web-slinging superhero Spider-Man became the surprise attraction in the battle between Iron Man and Captain America in Civil War. One question that sparks the minds of fans many is how does Spider-Man ended up on the Avengers initiative? Why did he become one of them? This new Spider-Man movie explains all.

Spider-Man Homecoming

Spider-Man Homecoming is Marvel's brand new action-adventure movie that introduces actor Tom Holland to the role coveted by Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield in the past as Peter Parker, better known as your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man as he's trying to become part of the Avengers initiative while dealing with his biggest moment of his life; the senior prom.

Peter Parker's chance encounter with Iron Man himself, Tony Stark (played by Robert Downey Jr.), changes everything and much to the dismay of his new mentor, Peter struggles to fit in to his normal life while busy saving the world as Spider-Man when a powerful new threat known as The Vulture (played by Michael Keaton) emerges and the friends and family Peter cared about will be threatened. How will he risk everything to save the day while more importantly, saving himself for his once-in-a-lifetime moment?

While Tom Holland's not new in the world of Marvel ever since his Civil War debut as Spider-Man, having a fresh new face puts a bold new twist to the epic story of everyone's friendly neighborhood and this film gets the job done rather well. While watching the film about Spider-Man getting involved with the Avengers initiative before his surprise appearance in Civil War last year has all the answers we really need, the way we look at Spider-man is beyond our predictions because like this one time, we all thought that Spidey's look will be the one hinted in the upcoming PS4-exclusive Spider-Man game but we were wrong because it's still classic Spidey look as we get from the pages of comic books and that was a bit of a disappointment for us all hoping to see Spider-Man's new look.

Despite the disappointment, Spider-Man Homecoming is a definite proof that the thrills and spills we expected from past Spider-Man films that traces us from the years of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield are back. It is truly back and even with Tom Holland's presentation of being the new Spider-Man, it feels pretty much like all of the best Spider-Man films ever witnessed. So, now that we got the answer about how Spider-Man ended up on the Avengers initiative at the eyes of his new mentor, question is, is he ready for the endless war that will happen next year along with the other Marvel superheroes we saw in the past and the present? With Thor and Black Panther in the waiting list for the time being, looks like Spider-Man is ready, willing, and able enough to be in the ultimate Marvel experience soon and we have our fingers crossed.
