THREATS FROM NORTH KOREA: North Korea conducted artillery drill

North Korea conducted an artillery drill on its side of the West Sea border. They fired multiple shells from its Jangsan cape located across from the South's Baengnyeong-do island. According to SoKor's Defense Ministry, it was likely a normal drill and no unusual activity detected from the North side but as a precaution, the South Korean military called back fishing boats and told the island's residents to be on standby for evacuation.

The South Korean military also announced that they recovered more pieces from the North's rocket launch last February 7th. The Navy says the search for debris is now complete.

In terms of a possible cyberattack, the South Korean ICT ministry is reportedly inspecting the nation's telecom companies and government agencies, as well as online banking systems for security breach purposes.
