- Two passenger trains in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh are in a deadly derailment within minutes of each other, killing 24 people aboard, according to officials.

- French experts are due to examine part of a wing that washed up on the Reunion island last week and believed to be part of the missing flight MH370.

- Investigation on the number 2 reactor in the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant is facing problems. They say that two new devices developed at a cost of over four million dollars to take X-ray-like photos inside the No.2 reactor are too big to install.

- TESDA will train disabled people to represent the Philippines at the upcoming 9th International Abilympics in France next year. The abilympics demonstrate the vocational skills of people with disabilities, which could spark greater potential for employment and livelihood.

- DILG Secretary and presidential candidate Mar Roxas wants Senator Grace Poe to become his Vice PResident in next year's elections under the administration coalition.
