- The Athens Stock Exchange is expected to drop by as much as 20% on Monday when trading finally resumes after a five-week closure.

- To combat the long-going issue of climate change, US President Barack Obama will unveil the biggest, most important step they've ever taken. His revised Clean Power Plan aims to cut greenhouse gas emissions from US power stations by nearly a third within 15 years and place significant emphasis on alternative resources.

- Malaysian authorities believed that the part of the wing found on the Reunion islands in the Indian Ocean belonged to a Boeing 777 jet similar to the Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 that disappeared last year over the South China Sea with 239 people on board.

- An Mi-28 attack helicopter crash landed during an airshow in the central Russian region of Ryazan, killing the pilot and injuring another. A video footage shows that one of a group of 3 gunships spiraling out of control and crash landed.

- Philippine President Benigno Aquino III plots a bigger anti-graft budget to intensify the campaign against graft as well as ensuring a peaceful 2016 elections. This includes raising the funding from the Sandigan, OMB, and the COA as well as for rebuilding Yolanda-stricken towns and COMELEC.

- Senator Grace Poe-Llamanzares is staging a congressional battle against operators of bogus investment schemes and networking sames, seeking an inquiry into the current situation of securities and investment laws.

- The latest trailer for the upcoming THE IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls Starlight Stage features more details including over 20 songs (as well as the 2nd theme song Shine!!) and over 50 idols to master.
