Patriots named as SB49 champs

NFL's Super Bowl XLIX sees a gruesome grudge match between last season's champions, the Seattle Seahawks, and the New England Patriots at Arizona's University of Phoenix Stadium. There has been some endless barrage of defenses, throws, fouls (well, Seahawks gone prone to most fouls), injuries, and rarely, a fight broke out before the game ends. It's one heck of a neck-and-neck match and it seems that one fatal mistake done by the Seahawks have heavily favored the Patriots.

In the end, at the score of 28-24, the New England Patriots won the Super Bowl XLIX, their first win since 2001. The team's top player, Tom Brady, is named as the game's MVP.

It feels ashamed that the Seahawks made their worst call in Super Bowl history. I thought they had the winning chance while on their 1-yard line to the goal but one interception blew it. That's how their fight broke out during a timeout.

Oh well. At least this game had lots of surprises. We even experience the half-time concert with musical performances by Katy Perry as well as rockstar Lenny Kravitz and rapper Missy Elliot.

It was quite a heartbreak for Seahawks fans like me but at least watching this year's Super Bowl is one of the most memorable moments I will remember for.

Congratulations to the New England Patriots anyway...
