The mad, bad, and dangerous on this segment today or tonight or this morning if you get up in the morning;

- The White House confirmed that US President Obama made a phone call to Iranian present Hassan Rouhani, making this the first ever top-level contact between the two nations since 1979.

- Since when celeb Megan Young was chosen to represent the Philippines for Miss World 2013, she's quite a serious contender for the upcoming pageant and with photos of her kept on appearing on men's magazines, Miss World franchisee decries ‘smear campaign’ vs PH bet.

- The official Doctor Who YouTube channel posted a clip about a workshop called Rubbertoe Replicas where a talented craftsman showcased a few tricks to create top-notch replicas based on the props of Doctor Who.



- Doctor Who's Captain Jack Harkness, John Barrowman, built a bike? Because he can.

- While on the subject of the Claudine-Raymart case, reports said that Raymart Santiago will file for annulment to Claudine Barretto.

- If you thought that the new fifth-generation Honda Odyssey is just one of the Hondas coming soon, there's more because Honda teased an upcoming kei-car, some say it will replace the Life kei-car. Called N WGN, the new kei car is set to rival the Suzuki Wagon R and the Daihatsu Move. It's coming at year's end exclusively for the Japanese market.

- Metro eat your heart out because there's a new anime series coming on October 2, 2013. It's titled COPPELION and it's all about three genetically modified girls sent to a nuclear-stricken Tokyo wasteland. In Coppelion, the post-nuclear sci-fi military action anime is set when radioactive contamination put Tokyo under a blockade and three genetically modified girls, codenamed Coppelion,  were sent to the Tokyo wasteland to investigate. If by the word "genetically modified" they are invulnerable to radioactivity since birth. It's set to premiere in Japan on 10/2/13 on the AT-X channel and 10/4/13 on BS11.



- At the Texas State Fair, General Motors unveiled HEAVY DUTY versions of the new-generation Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra pickup trucks. The new HEAVY DUTY models features 6.6-liter Duramax turbo diesel and 6.0-liter Vortec V-8 to better maintain full power, even under heavy loads and high ambient temperatures.

- Meanwhile, Ford updates the F-Series Super Duty pickup trucks for the 2015 model featuring a second-generation 6.7-liter Power Stroke V8 turbo diesel engine; increased towing capabilities; and a refreshed King Ranch model.
